ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION IN SCIENCE EDUCATION IN A COVID 19 PRONE SOCIETY

ABSTRACT
Entrepreneurship has become an integral component of Science education and now acts as catalyst for transformation. The need for this paper arose as a result of the number of Science education student graduates produced every year from our higher institutions of learning, without commensurate job opportunities for them. The study aimed at examining entrepreneur, entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial areas in Science education programme, identifying the resources and the methods that should be employed in entrepreneurship education in Science education programmes for survival of education in a COVID 19 prone society, the extent to which entrepreneurship education has equipped Science education students with relevant entrepreneurial skills and competencies, identifying the problems associated and determine the strategies for enhancing entrepreneurship education in Science education programmes for survival in COVID 19 prone society. Based on the study, recommendations were made by the researchers
