APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) IN HEALTH CARE

ABSTRACT

Computers and information technology has played a pivotal role in the advancement of healthcare. The advancement in computer technology particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) has encouraged the researchers to develop products for making life easy for the public. AI exploits the potential of human intelligence such as reasoning, making decision, learning (by experiencing) and many others. AI is not a new concept, yet it has been accepted as a new technology in computer science. It has been applied in many areas such as education, business, medical and manufacturing. This paper explores the potential of AI particularly in healthcare.
